McGeough’s Butchers was established in 1971 by my father, Eamonn McGeough. Originally from Monaghan, Eamonn moved to England in his twenties where he worked in a butcher shop on Edgeware Road, London….
At McGeoughs, we are specialists in artisan charcuterie. The range includes air dried and smoked beef, pork, ham, and lamb. We are the only facility in Ireland producing this innovative charcuterie range which takes up to 14 months to make. We also produce award winning Connemara smoked sausages along with smoked black and white pudding.
McGeough’s Connemara Fine Foods is a third generation artisan butcher based in Oughterard, Co Galway. We specialise in fresh meat (beef, pork, lamb, poultry), sausages, along with our award winning Connemara air dried and smoked meats. We cater for all family occasions as well as supplying wholesale customers.
McGeough’s Connemara Fine Foods are experts in the production of premium air-dried and smoked meats. We also have a butcher shop on Camp Street in Oughterard, which is now managed by the third generation of McGeough’s butchers. From our shop, we sell on the best Irish meats (beef, pork, lamb and poultry), catering platters for any occasion, as well as an artisan foods and general grocery.
